Howdy Folks! I'm Steve Reynolds. I've been a professional bird dog trainer since 1995. I grew up with Weimaraners and that has been my primary breed. I specialize in training dogs for AKC field trials, hunt tests and also train hunting dogs.
I was fortunate enough to have spent a summer in 1995 with Brittany trainer Dave Walker, who trains the West/Gibbons way. I had seen how great Walkers dogs looked on birds and knew that his way of training would work well on Weimaraners. It has!

Howdy! Haven't been on this forum for a while! As you can the tell, the dogs have been getting a lot more exercise than I have! How's everything in the great Lone Star State?! It is a wee bit uncomfortable living in the the United Socialist State of California, at least for a guy that trains dogs and hunts.
You gonna be at any of the Texas trials or Nationals? Heading out in about a week for the Shallowater trial. Keep in touch, Steve

Not much just trying to recover from this weekends hunt test and my sore legs. I am planning on trying to get up to nationals and I would love to make it up to Shallowater but most likely work will interfere. I would just be up there to watch as Major is not ready for any broke stakes but would still love to go and watch and visit my parents.
